Item Combining
Here are all of the things you can combine in this category
Skill Book Lv | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Lv. 1 Skill Books needed | 1 | 2 | 4 | 8 | 16 | 32 | 64 | 128 | 256 |
To reach the maximum skill level of 10 one needs 511 Lv. 1 Skill Books: a Lv. 1 Skill Book is needed to reach level 2, a Lv. 2 Skill Book (meaning 2x Lv. 1 Skill Books) is needed to reach level 3,... . So in total 1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128+256 =511 Lv. 1 Skill Books are needed. With 6 skills per hero and 4 hero a total of
Books * Hero * Skill = 511 * 4 * 6 = 12,264 x Skill Books Lv. 1
have to be collected to reach the maximum level for all skills.
Equipment Smelting
Unlocks at hero level, at least one hero must reach the level to wear the item.
Master-III or Lv.70 is the max a rare or perfect item can be smelted to.
Legendary-II or Lv.90 is the max an epic item can be smelted to.

Equipment Research
Unlocks at : village Level ?
Equipment Rare-->>Perfect-->>Epic and Lv will Down
1 Perfect-->>Epic requires an unsmelted purple equipment of the same type. To research a Perfect Master-III Ice Sword (weapon) into an Epic Ordinary-1 Dragon Claw (weapon) a Perfect Ordinary-I Ice Sword is needed.
Smelting or Researching Dilemma
The dilemma is: Should a Rare item before smelted to the highest level and then researched to Perfect or should it immediately researched to Perfect and then smelted?
Comparison of the two strategies from a Rare Excellent-I to a Perfect Master-I item:
Strategy | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Ancestral Pieces of the same type |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Smelting First | 20 | 40 | 180 | 102500 | 25 |
Researching First | 20 | 42 | 150 | 135000 | 0 |
Analysis: Researching first and then smelting requires 2 excellent cornalians and about 30k silver more, but 30 bull horns less and no additional ancestral pieces. Considering the difficulty to gather the additional bull horns and the ancestral pieces the researching first strategy is better then the smelting first strategy.

Viking Hatchet
The Viking Hatchet is the same as an Ice Sword but with different icons. Smelting the Hatchet will result in an Ice Sword.
